Please describe your encounter:
I was on a double date with some friends. I was sitting in the back seat behind the driver and watching the road. Suddenly, the driver and I saw a large hairy something on two legs cross the road. It was carrying a shoat (small pig) like a football under one arm. It crossed the road from one side to the other in three steps. The driver said "Did anyone see that? I replied "I did" and he asked "what was it" I said, I don't know. but it was carrying a little pig. The other two people in the car did not see anything as they were in a conversation and not paying attention but got a big laugh and made fun of us for thinking we saw something. The subject was dropped.
Describe the creature with detail:
The sighting was very brief but what I remember it had a lot of hair on long arms and all over. It was graceful in movement. The hair was a dark color with a lighter color on the chest area. It was dark at the time and the car lights were all we had in way of light.
Any additional Info?
Another time I was about twelve and was playing in a small creek which runs into Green River. I was catching crawdads and just playing in the shallow water. Our German Shepherd dog was with me. I came upon a huge bare footprint left in some mud. I remember putting my foot inside of this footprint thinking "who in the world could have made this great big footprint. I wore a size 10 in the 8th grade and it was way bigger than my foot. The closer we got to the River, the more nervous my dog became and it would go no farther. I didn't go without her as she obviously didn't want me to go any farther. I got chills up my back and ran back home. At the time I really didn't think much about it but I did remember the eerie feeling I got the closer I got to the river. This was probably about 1965.
Follow-Up: 11-14-12
I spoke to Yvonne over the phone at great length. She is a 61 year-old retired professional and a Navy veteran. They were actually driving on Hwy 49 which is a very crooked and rural stretch of road between Liberty and Bradfordsville. The sighting occurred just past an area known as Jack Town. As their vehicle rounded a curve the bigfoot had just stepped onto the road and took 3 steps to cross it. “It was very graceful. It kinda glided across the road.” The bigfoot cradled a medium-sized pink pig under its arm with its hand under its belly. “It looked like a football player carrying a football.” She could not tell if the pig was alive or dead. The bigfoot did turn its head briefly to look at them and it appeared to have a stiff neck--as it seemed to turn just its upper body. She can’t recall any facial features as it was a brief, quick turn. It was thicker in its upper torso with very broad shoulders and longer hair on its arms. It was lighter grey in the chest region. She estimates its distance about 40 feet from the car and the headlights lit it up really good. When asked to estimate its height, Yvonne said, “I’m not really sure, but it had to be pretty tall because it took only 3 steps to cross the road.”
Sketch by Terry Thomas
Growing up in Casey County, Yvonne explains that so many people saw this creature that they nicknamed it the “Wooly Booger”. For example, the owner of the drive-in, Charles Brown, a very prestigious and prominent man in the community saw it cross in front of his vehicle late one evening as he returned from dropping off some friends. The whole town knew about his sighting. Summer nights, having no a/c, her family would leave the windows open. On occasion all the dogs in the neighborhood could be heard barking frantically, followed by a brief smell of rotten garbage.
My observations:
There have been many reports from this area claiming the bigfoot was grey in the chest region. In KY many witnesses mention the hair is much longer on the arms, hanging down as one would notice on an orangutan. In general, many drivers seem to have their encounters coming around a sharp curve as if to catch it crossing the road by surprise. Frequently witnesses claim the bigfoot appears to “glide across” the road which is a testament to its unique footstep (the midtarsal break in the arch of the foot) and its compliant gait.

Estimated date? November 1993 & June 1994
Estimated time? 5 pm & 4 pm
Nearest city? Liberty
Nearest Road(s): Hwy 198
Length
of time the encounter lasted: 5 minutes, 15 seconds max
How many witnesses? myself
Please describe your encounter:
In Nov. 1993 I was deer hunting in gun season on our farm. I was in a ground blind I made on the edge of a power line. I began hearing something moving way back in behind me. It didn't sound like a deer or squirrel. It would move forward, then half circle me. This continued until I felt like I was being watched. The hair stood up on the back of my neck and I couldn't take it anymore. I smelled something weird and I got out of the blind and backed out across the field and down the hill. I never saw anything but I think it was a Bigfoot.
In June
1994 we were setting tobacco in a field just below the same hill and the power
line went overhead. While my Mom and Grandmother were getting more plants to
set, our dog rose up on his hind legs and was sniffing. As I turned on the tractor
toward the dog & was wiping my face with my sleeve, I looked up the hill
and a Bigfoot was crossing the power line. It was brownish/black and moved just
like the Bigfoot in the Patterson video. I know it had to hear the tractor but
it never looked our way. It moved from a small patch of woods in a hollow that
has open grass fields on all sides. But there is a pond at the bottom of it.
I wondered if it had come for water and maybe watched us. I did not tell my
mother or grandmother until we were done working. Mom had seen one when she
was a kid and believed me. Later on the same farm my brother while hunting was
chased by a Bigfoot and the next summer he saw one at the edge of a field watching
him disc the ground. It stood there with its hand & arm against a tree watching
him and then disappeared.
Describe the creature with detail:
What I saw
was about 8 feet in height. Brownish/Black long fur and walked just like the
creature in the Patterson video. It took large steps and cleared the power line
in no time flat. I was about 100 yards away.
Any additional Info? Where I saw it is close to where my mother saw one in the
1950's & some reports on US 127. As the crow flies this is all within 3
to 5 miles of each other.
Follow Up: 5-21-2012
Victor Black is 43 years old and the Athletic Director for Casey County High
School. Regarding his November 1993 encounter, he described the smell as a “dirty
wet dog.” He has hunted his entire life and had never before, or since,
smelled a stench that bad.
Regarding his June 1994 sighting, it was a hot sunny afternoon and he was working
a field on his tractor. About 100 yards away he witnessed an 8 foot tall bigfoot
crossing under the power lines. He was amazed at how fast the creature cleared
the opening. He said it was brownish color with black streaks in it and looked
very similar to the Patterson footage. The shoulders were rolled forward and
it had huge arms which swung dramatically. It never turned its head to look
at him. It was big and bulky and very swift. Victor believes it was leaving
a small patch of woods and was heading toward a pond on the opposite side of
the power lines. He did not tell anyone until they were finished setting tobacco
because he didn't want to alarm his family. Not far from this location his brother
had an incident where a bigfoot chased him out of the woods. Report coming soon!
His mother and two of her friends were playing in a barn loft as children and
witnessed a bigfoot standing in the barn door watching them. One of the girls
screamed and the creature turned and ran away. Report coming soon!
Victor is well-educated, highly credible witness and he's familiar with all
of the bigfoot sightings in the area. He spoke with me at great length regarding
these sightings and is willing to possibly set up a town hall meeting in the
near future to map out and document all the reports in Casey County.

' About three weeks ago I stepped out onto the porch around 8 pm to see if the
coyotes were howling. They sometimes sound off about that time. Instead, I heard
a cry I've never heard before, coming from the south about a quarter-mile away.
I have no idea what it was. The best I can describe it is, HIIIIII-EEE, rising
in pitch at the latter part. It was much louder than any coyote or dog I ever
heard. There were two cries, each lasting about two or three seconds. I thought,
"Whatever that is, it sounds angry," and I went back inside. A few
days later, I mentioned the incident to my neighbor, who said, "Oh, you
must have heard the wolf. We started hearing him about two years ago. Usually
the coyotes will start howling, and then when he starts up, they all shut up.
He sounds pretty ferocious." (I had not described the cry to my neighbor,
nor had I mentioned my feeling that it seemed angry.) The thing is, this did
not sound like a wolf either, at least not like any wolf call I ever
heard on TV. It was more like a baying sound, but it didn't sound like a hound
dog. I really don't know what it was.

got the stronger this skunk smell. Well whatever it was that came stopped right
in front of our 4-wheelers, stopped, and looked at them. It starred a min. and
